Baroque | 31cm Oval Platter

Baroque brings the ornate scalloped edges and classical silhouettes of vintage European tableware into a form built for daily service. Crafted in high-density porcelain and fired to commercial-grade resilience, each piece is designed to come through every use looking as good as it did on day one.

The collection is available in two glazes, a soft Beige and a rich Fire, so it suits everything from a minimalist home table to a busy hospitality pass. Plate depths, bowl capacities and stacking heights have all been recalibrated for modern plating and specialty coffee service, so the vintage look doesn't come at the cost of practicality.

Designed by Simon Stevens, an award-winning product designer and a driving force in ceramic design. Simon has worked with some of the world's most prestigious ceramic manufacturers and has taught and lectured on the subject throughout the UK. He has headed up design teams for lifestyle brands and now continues his design career at the established Simon Stevens Design Studio in London. Simon's dynamic creativity has resulted in his most successful designs being held in the permanent collections of the Victoria & Albert Museum and the Frankfurt Museum of Applied Art.
